01 The Challenge
Illustrate and explain the impact of an HDFN diagnosis through one family’s experience.
HDFN is caused when the blood types of the mother and the fetus are incompatible; as a result, the mother develops antibodies that attack her unborn baby’s red blood cells. If left untreated, this can cause severe anemia in the baby, leading to organ failure and death.
Working with our partners at DCOY Studios, we were given the distinct privilege of capturing the latest chapter in the life of Bethany Weathersby and her family.

Capture the Weathersby family’s story through interviews and documentary footage.
Filming took place at the home of Bethany and Josh Weathersby and their relatives over the course of two days. Extensive interviews, lifestyle b-roll and still photography captured the lives of the Weathersby family today as we discussed their incredible journey.
